   Shipping Rates and Policy

 

SHIPPING COSTS:

Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order, the distance from our warehouse to your destinationand the delivery method. Unlike a lot of e-commerce sites, Haamoda don't make a profit on shipping. The Price you are quoted is our price from FedEx including our volume discount, fuel surcharges and small handling fee. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed. Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.

Sales tax/VAT is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped.

 

SHIPMENT TRACKING:

Once the order has been handed to the courier agency, we will email you the tracking code, along with the website link on which you can monitor and check the status of your order.

SHIPPING ADDRESS:

Haamoda does not deliver to P.O. Box or Drop Box addresses. Customers are requested to provide full addresses with the postal code.

Haamoda will not be liable for delays resulting from incomplete address listings. In such cases the customer will have to bear the reshipping charges.

CHANGE OF SHIPPING ADDRESS: 

The customer can change the shipping address within 24 hours of placing an order by logging into Haamoda.com and going to the 'My Account' section on the top right corner of the website. No changes in the shipping address will be entertained after 24 hours of placing the order.

 

 DELIVERY TIME:

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of placing an order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within 3-4 weeks from the date of your order. Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

Products on Haamoda are designer made and hand crafted by our artisans. Due to the intricate and unique nature of the ethnic products available on our website, we take great pains in ensuring that we deliver only the best quality products.

DELAY IN DELIVERY:

If there is a delay in delivery caused due to any natural calamity, public holiday or any other unforeseen circumstance, Haamoda shall not refund, return, replace or exchange any order.

In case the delay in shipping is caused due to unavailability of stock, Haamoda shall inform you by email and you will be able to choose an alternate product, opt for store wallet or receive a refund for that product.

Cancellation Policy:

 

Orders cannot be cancelled once the shipment begins. However, orders that cannot be cancelled may qualify for our Return Policy.

If a customer requests an order cancellation after the shipping process begins, refuses delivery of a shipped package, or provides a non-deliverable shipping address, the shipping/handling fees are non-refundable and shall be deducted from any credit or compensation issued. The customer will be charged for both outbound and return-shipping charges associated with that order.

The amount deducted from the credit or compensation shall be the actual freight charges & handling fees charged by the freight carrier or supplier to us. We kindly ask our valued customers that they carefully review their orders before completing checkout so that there is no need to request cancellation or refuse delivery.
